Intrepid Optimist

Intrepid Optimist is the place where I can share my stories; fact, fiction and thoughts from the past and present. It’s Written by myself for people who believe adventure knows no age

You Never know?

Friday Fast Fiction. 100 word photo prompt –

Enough’s enough.” Complained Hector slamming the Bulldozer into gear. “Who would go to the trouble to cut a heart shaped hole in my sandwich? I could understand if the hole had been round and filled with meat paste.  I ask you – a hole and me with my appetite?”

“Yesterday, as well, some idiot tried embarrassing me by slipping half a dozen, heart shaped biscuits slipped into my lunch box and last week, a bunch of roses – yellow mind you – left on the seat of my tractor.”

“How stupid of someone.” Stammered Bruce, throwing  away the extra sandwich he had just bought.

It’s a very short but very wise story. I love it.
